Usability regressions in v1.0.520 - Paste and CLI args broken

Hi team,

I've been a fan of Codebuff for a while, but I'm finding the new release (1.0.520) difficult to use due to some significant regressions. (If it matters, I am running this on Ubuntu 24.04.3.)

Here are two specific issues I'm encountering:

1. Clipboard functionality: I can no longer paste text into the UI. Just the final character appears.
2. CLI Prompts: Passing a prompt via the command line (e.g., codebuff "prompt") no longer works.

These changes have severely impacted my workflow to the point where I can barely use the tool any longer, and I am frequently finding other regressions.

Could you consider offering an option to toggle back to the previous UI, or provide a method to downgrade and lock the version? The forced upgrades make it difficult to rely on the tool when a release introduces bugs like this.

Just to make sure, I updated Node.js and the problems persist on this version (LTS as of this writing):

Hi Ben,

Gotcha, you can revert by installing npm i -g codebuff@legacy and deleting the exiting codebuff binary at ~/.config/manicode/codebuff (fixing it now to automatically delete the binary). I will update the current app to make this clear to users.

We can add support for the prompt parameter ASAP. We'll investigate pasting, which works on a few mac/linux/windows pc's we've tested.

Thanks, that has me back in business. I do appreciate the simplicity of the legacy UI. I can see where you're going with the new stuff (there are obvious parallels with competitors). There is something to be said for differentiation though. Make it as simple as possible (but no simpler 😛).
