AI is pretty complex for any new comers without experience, take it easy, for most of the use cases, try DeepSeek/ChatGPT official applications for learning how to interact with it, once you feel confident enough to write small scripts with AI, you can use OpenRouter/Ollama for accessing various cloud/local LLMs, the SDK you may need to interact is xsAI, or Vercel AI SDK. Once you get to try those things, I believe you can fastly, rapidly growing by doing this. AIRI is powered by LLMs and other language models, you can search for @xsai/generate-text or @xsai/stream-text to find how we use it.

We got many exciting things, including new WIP plugin API (#255 ), and realtime audio system, and motion control, and game play inside #200, feel free to chat under those issues (yes, they are meant to live there for discussing for developers, please do share any of your thoughts!).

Hey. I love the idea of the project, and vtubers :D
Im not much of a dev, writing code only with gpt(Python, very rarely JS/TS). But im working with a lot of training(Stable Diffusion, VAEs, CLIPs, etc.) and particularly with YOLOs, which could be useful for quick specialized vision modules. I annotate datasets myself, so they can be trained for any particular game/task.

Hi! I'm Cloto, building ClotoCore — an open-source, event-driven AI agent platform (Rust backend + TypeScript frontend).
We've been working on a memory layer for persistent AI companions (MCP-based, iterating through several versions), and the hardest part has been bridging working memory and long-term recall — naive RAG approaches kept falling short.
I've been following AIRI's progress closely — the Minecraft agent's cognitive architecture (perception→reflex→conscious→action with the JS planner sandbox) and the modular approach to character personality through Velin and Character Cards are impressive.
Would love to exchange thoughts on memory layer design for companions. Happy to share what we've tried and what didn't work.
