dd tiff
its dependency sgitools is commented out to be restored if/when it is available
it is a dependency of the following other gnuwin32 packages
includes the dependency feed jpeg
jpegs dependency urt is commented out to be restored if/when it is available
jpeg is a dependency of the following other gnuwin32 packages
tiff is a very broadly supported package with 285 packages across 120 repos on repology
jpeg is a moderately supported package with 126 packages across 50 repos on repology
Both have versions with version numbers ending in "-1" that can be used to depend on only the package without dependencies to avoid a large snarl of packages totaling hundreds of megs downloaded for any package that reads jpeg or tiff files.
There is a second implementation, ending in "-3" that have the dependencies and the commands that use them.
known problems
jpegexiforient runs but doesnt change exif orientation tag
jpegtran leaves artifact column on image rotated 90
jpegs dependency urt is commented out to be restored if/when it is available
Since there was never a version 6c I figured that the b didn't really matter and just dropped it
the 3 indicates that this is my 3rd level package of this software where it uses the other dependencies instead of using the deps bundle (6-4-2) or dropping them (6-4-1)
I'm willing to update it to some other version if you like.
I also added ezwinports tiff 4.0.3 package it has a different dll file name than the 3.8
Would you rather have a separate feed for version tiff version 4?
