1. Navigate to Workspace > Accounting > NetSuite > Advanced.
2. Open the AP Approval Account dropdown.
3. Locate a GL account with a long name.
4. Observe how the account name is displayed.

Expected Result:

Long GL account names should display enough text to identify the account (e.g., allow 2–3 lines before truncation).
Alternatively, users should have a way to view the full account name (such as a tooltip on hover).

Actual Result:

Long GL account names are truncated after a single line.
There is no way to view the full account name.

Please re-state the problem that we are trying to solve in this issue.

In Workspace > Accounting > NetSuite > Advanced > AP Approval Account, GL accounts with long names are truncated to a single line with an ellipsis, and there is no way (e.g. tooltip) to read the full account name — so users can't reliably tell long-named accounts apart.

What is the root cause of that problem?

The AP Approval Account page renders a shared SelectionScreen without the isRowMultilineSupported prop, so it defaults to false (NetSuiteApprovalAccountSelectPage.tsx:79).

That false flows down to the row component, which then hard-caps the title to one line with a no-wrap style (BaseSelectListItem.tsx:87):

numberOfLines={isMultilineSupported ? titleNumberOfLines : 1}

Separately, SelectionScreen hard-codes shouldShowTooltips={false} for all consumers, so no hover tooltip is available either.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

Pass isRowMultilineSupported to the SelectionScreen in NetSuiteApprovalAccountSelectPage.tsx, so long GL account names wrap to multiple lines (title defaults to 2 lines) instead of being cut off after one:

This mirrors the established, in-repo pattern already used by the company-card account selector (DynamicWorkspaceCompanyCardAccountSelectCardPage.tsx:136). The fix is entirely frontend (App repo) — the GL account list already arrives via Onyx; only the row rendering truncates.

What alternative solutions did you explore?

• Tooltip on hover: More invasive — SelectionScreen hard-codes shouldShowTooltips={false}, so enabling it would require a new prop (or removing the hard-code), affecting every SelectionScreen consumer. Also doesn't help touch devices. Multiline is the simpler, self-contained fix.
• Consider applying the same isRowMultilineSupported fix to the sibling NetSuite/QBO account dropdowns if they share this truncation, though that can be scoped as a follow-up.

Investigation details

• Options are built by getNetSuiteApprovalAccountOptions — each option's text is the raw GL account name (PolicyUtils.ts:2146-2151).
• Prop wiring: SelectionScreen (default isRowMultilineSupported = false, line 149) → BaseSelectionList → SingleSelectListItem → BaseSelectListItem, where isMultilineSupported gates numberOfLines (1 vs titleNumberOfLines, default 2) and styles.pre vs styles.preWrap.
• Reproduction is environment-blocked (needs a NetSuite-connected workspace with a long-named GL account), consistent with the "Reproduction blocked" note in the report; the root cause is confirmed by code inspection with the file:line evidence above.

No related/duplicate open issues were found.
