Abbreviate times to remove redundancy (e.g. "12-1 PM" rather than "12:00 PM - 1:00 PM")

Feature description

Currently, the widget and the simple event view display times like "12:00 PM - 1:00 PM". This is visually noisy to scan in the common case.

I'd love to see times abbreviated like "12-1 PM", or "11 AM - 1 PM", or "11:30 AM - 1 PM".

Algorithm:

• Always hide minutes on a time if they're :00.
• Hide the start time's AM/PM if it's the same as the second time's; in this case, also drop the space around the dash.

Why do you want this feature?

Visual simplification to make it much easier to scan a list of events.

Parity with Google Calendar.
