I'm Sajid Ahnaf Sahaf, a Computer Science & Engineering student at East West University in Bangladesh, working across software, embedded systems, networking, and robotics. I care less about collecting frameworks and more about understanding how systems actually behave β how a motor driver responds under load, how a matching engine performs under stress, how a network fails and recovers.
Most of what's in this profile came from actually building it: competition robots, coursework projects pushed past the minimum requirement, and a fair amount of debugging things at 2 AM because the sensor readings didn't make sense.

> depth over breadth β pick hard problems, actually finish them
- Build first, theorize second. I'd rather have a working sumo robot with rough code than a perfect design that never ran.
- Understand the failure mode. If I don't know why something broke, I haven't actually learned it.
- Depth compounds. I'm optimizing for a career arc, not a resume line β that shapes what I choose to spend time on.
- Say what's true. No inflated skill levels, no borrowed achievements. If something's early-stage, it's labeled that way.
| Area | Focus |
|---|---|
| π₯οΈ Systems Programming | Data structures under real performance constraints (trees, heaps, custom implementations) |
| π€ Robotics | Sensor calibration, state machines, and competitive robot behavior (sumo-class) |
| π Networking | Foundational networking knowledge, working toward CCNA/MTCNA |
| 𧩠Software Projects | End-to-end systems β from schema design to working UI |
Hands-on with sensor integration (IR, ToF), motor driver control, and state-machine-based robot behavior (IDLE / SEARCH / ATTACK / EVADE architectures) for competitive sumo robotics.

Software
- Hotel Management System β relational schema design and core booking/management logic
- GoInventory β inventory tracking system focused on practical stock management workflows
- Warehouse Management System β structured system for warehouse operations and stock flow
- Graph Analysis β traversal and representation work (BFS/DFS, adjacency structures) built for a data structures course
Embedded & Robotics
- SUMO Robot β competition robot built on ESP32 with TB6612FNG motor drivers and TCRT5000/VL53L0X sensors, using a state-machine control architecture (IDLE / SEARCH / ATTACK / EVADE)
- Line Following Robot β sensor-driven autonomous navigation project
- ESP32-based embedded systems β general embedded experimentation and sensor integration work
These are real projects at different stages of maturity β some are polished, some are still evolving. Check individual repos for current status.
Beyond direct coursework and projects, I follow developments in AI, keep an eye on political and geopolitical topics, and enjoy strategy-based gaming (Clash of Clans, among others). The long-term thread connecting most of this is a pull toward systems that are physical, networked, and security-relevant β which is also the direction I'm steering my career.
