navigation button background not turning dark

Describe the bug
The bottom below the keyboard sometimes does not get drawn. It is the area where the phone screen has the rounded corners, and where the minimize button is.

To Reproduce
Focus on any text field that open the keyboard, sometimes it is not drawn, no pattern found.

Expected behavior
The keyboards colours should draw down to the edge of screen.

Settings → Appearance → Color navigation bar . can you try toggle this off/on then check the behaviour

On 4.0.3. with Color Navigation bar OFF it is never drawn. With ON it is sometimes drawn, sometimes not.
Just tested on 4.0.4. and it is the same, for example in Firefox, but not only. When I open Firefox with the keyboard closed, and then click the search bar, it is drawn. But when I hide it and click it again, it is not drawn anymore.
Also cleared the app cache if that makes any difference.

Its mostly the system not the app, ill check if there is an workaround for it👍

the issue is not, its not drawing but the background of the ime not turning dark to reveal the minimize button, it still there , but gray in white background
