Rafael Alba

IT Operations and Application Support professional based in Vigo, Spain.

I build practical, evidence-led tools for enterprise support, troubleshooting and operational automation. My main interests are identity and access support, application support, infrastructure operations and the safe automation of repeatable technical work.

Across the projects, the same approach appears consistently: collect useful evidence, separate facts from assumptions, make uncertainty visible, preserve review history and produce clear outputs for escalation, handover or follow-up work.

Main projects

Project Focus What it shows Status
TRACE IAM and access support Redacted access investigations, Conditional Access, resource assignment, Guest/B2B scenarios, supporting and contradicting evidence, missing-evidence guidance and immutable history Portfolio-ready
INFIOS Application Support Incident cases, sanitized logs, diagnostic actions, escalation packages, recovery validation, problem management, known errors, handovers and service context Released v0.1.0
OPSCORE Infrastructure and production operations Service and dependency context, bounded DNS/HTTP/TLS/TCP checks, deterministic findings, operator assessment, immutable revisions and incident reports Portfolio MVP v0.9.0
WATCH IT automation Approved-target scheduling, bounded read-only checks, idempotent execution, change detection, retries, immutable evidence and operational actions Released v0.1.0
CustosOps Defensive security operations Endpoint, DNS, log, IIS and synthetic risky-sign-in evidence workflows with reporting, redaction and escalation boundaries Released v1.0.0
YTIS Applied AI and source intelligence Multi-source evidence extraction, human-reviewed findings, reusable insight cards and reviewed reports Released v1.0.0

TRACE is the clearest representation of how I approach identity, access and evidence-led support investigations. INFIOS and OPSCORE extend the same approach into application support and infrastructure operations.

Supporting projects

A local-first job-search decision, application-tracking and market-intelligence workbench. It preserves source evidence, normalizes and deduplicates postings, applies versioned evaluation profiles, records separate human decisions and tracks applications and outcomes.

A read-only PowerShell WPF utility for DNS evidence collection, forward and reverse consistency checks, possible stale-record classification and ticket-ready CSV exports. It also acts as a specialist supporting module for OPSCORE.

A PowerShell WinForms utility for repeatable endpoint-support checks, including TPM, Secure Boot, BitLocker, BIOS information, intervention notes and exportable evidence.

An active supporting lab for incident handling, identity and access troubleshooting, API error interpretation, documentation, escalation and practical support scenarios.

Working principles

  • Evidence before action
  • Read-only first where practical
  • Human approval before risky changes
  • Facts, inference, contradictions and missing evidence kept separate
  • Clear reports, runbooks, handovers and escalation notes
  • Public-safe or sanitized portfolio data only

What this portfolio shows

The purpose of this portfolio is not to present me as a senior cloud architect, senior DevOps engineer, MLOps engineer, offensive security specialist or DBA.

It shows how I approach operational and support problems:

  • understand user and business impact;
  • collect relevant evidence;
  • separate symptoms from possible explanations;
  • document uncertainty and limitations;
  • automate repeatable checks where appropriate;
  • produce support-ready reports, handovers and escalation packages;
  • build safe local tools around real operational workflows.
