Byte-identical to the reviewed content of PR #772 (main): sync workflow, escaped transform script + tests, wiped placeholder changelog with insert marker. dev: byte-identical file content (verifiedchangelog.mdxis currently identical on dev and pre-PR main). Docs contributors branch fromdev, so both branches need these files to avoid promotion conflicts and so dev-based work sees the real changelog state.
