Many deprecations in standby

All of the following functions have been deprecated for a while but untouched since 0.13 Should we remove them in 0.17.0 ?

We already have #2396 for tracking deprecations but in this case it's worth revisiting the unplanned removals section. I leave the decision of this subset up to our iotools masters @AdamRJensen @IoannisSifnaios . CC @pvlib/pvlib-maintainer

Just in case you want to take over this task, note that I forgot to add this deprecation ( 😔🤘 ) some versions ago and it's also pending for removal:

• pvlib.iotools.get_cams renamed parameter server to url in v0.13.0
  • Introduced in Change server parameter to url in get_cams #2463
  • Was scheduled to v0.14.0, pending enforcement as of v0.15.1

All of the above deprecated iotools functions can be removed in the next 0.X release.

v0.13.0/v0.13.1 were June/Sep 2025. The soonest we'd remove these is the Sep 2026 release, which I think is okay. I suggest 0.16.0 for all of these.

Hi! I can work on removing these deprecated iotools functions for v0.16.0.

I'll remove parse_bsrn, parse_epw, parse_cams, and handle the get_cams server->url deprecation.
I'll also update docs and tests accordingly.
