4 TC, Looks like an advanced mining scanner (and functions equivalent to one too).
Role restricted to Shaft Miner, Quartermaster, and Mining Medic.
Using it on a mining charge will half the explosive power and allow you to place it on anything (like a C4). It also explodes not just rock anymore. Thirds the power (min(power/3,0.5) actually) so the explosions aren't syndicate bomb sized.
6 charges, at 0 it does nothing. 6 "free" boom booms for 4 TC.
If you fuck with a mining charge, the description gives it away.
If you try to override a charge as a non-syndicate, nothing happens.
Currently in the game there's only one type of mining charge, but #14173 adds two more so I will list their explosive power:
For reference, a C4 does a 0/0/3 explosion, a x4 does a 0/2/5, a syndicate minibomb does 1/2/4
Lesser Mining Charge: 0.5/0.5/0.5
Mining Charge (what's in the game currently): 0.5/1/1.66
Mega Mining Charge (locked behind research): 0.66/1.66/2.33
